IS HIRING A PLANNER NECESSARY?

Hiring a wedding planner is something that I initially did not want to put any of my wedding budget towards. However, I quickly learned that planning an out of state wedding (while working full time and raising kids...probably for anyone for that matter) felt very overwhelming. It felt so overwhelming that I considered eloping and not having a wedding at all. 

I couldn't be more happier with my decision to hire Autumn. We are a blended family and the entire theme of our wedding from the very beginning was about family. It was crucial to my husband and I that all of our children felt included in our special day.

Autumn, put in a lot of time and devoted a lot of energy to ensuring that our day was a success. She was easy to talk to and helped me stay on budget and even saved me a lot of money to help me keep the things that I wanted in other areas. 

 

I appreciated that she was easy for me to contact and she was very prompt about getting back with me regarding any issue small or large. I can without a doubt say that my wedding day was perfect and that is thanks to her! I was able (and so was all of my friends and family) to enjoy our wedding. I did not worry about the vendors, set-up, tear-down or anything for that matter. She was there constantly working and coordinating on the day of so that myself & all of our guests were truly able to enjoy the day.

She is a top notch professional and I highly recommend her services to anyone considering a wedding planner!

MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE.

Besides my groom, there was only one thing I ended up needing on my wedding day-Autumn! 

Autumn was so unbelievably incredible in planning and executing our amazing destination wedding! Autumn was totally dedicated to making my dreams come true-she was creative and went above and beyond to try and make every request happen (including sewing linens, hanging flower chandeliers, personally tracking down unresponsive band members :) ). She advocated for us every step of the way to ensure we were happy with the end result. She was fantastic at listening to us, then bringing us great options to choose from. All the vendors she recommended were fantastic-photographer, baker, florist, rentals, band- and Autumn herself made beautiful (and reasonably priced!!) stationary that flowed with our theme throughout the wedding. Autumn was incredibly responsive and patient-working through several layout, flower, stationary- and even dealt with my "dad-zilla". If there were any glitches, no one knew about them :)

I have gotten endless comments about from guests on how beautiful the wedding was and everyone that interacted with Autumn had nothing but amazing things to say-parents, vendors, bridal party, guest, etc. Our wedding could not have been more fantastic, fun, beautiful, enjoyable and stressfree and it was 100% because of Autumn! Autumn is truly passionate and invested in her weddings, which is very clear throughout the process and with an amazing ending result.

DESTINATION WEDDING?  NO PROBLEM.

I just do not have enough words for how AMAZING Autumn is! I was planning a Montana wedding from Texas, and she was the most responsive, thorough and organized of any of the planners I contacted. She had never done a wedding in Whitefish, but you would not have known it. She helped create the perfect wedding for us from the ground up. She understood what we wanted from a design/decor standpoint even before we knew what we wanted. When there was a bump in the road, she smoothed it out or found another path. We gave her a budget and she worked and stretched it in ways I would never have been able to. Autumn made planning a wedding immensely easier and I would book her again 10x over. 

 

BONUS! She owns [Winter Paper Co.] and designed our invitations which were also perfect! So our invites, decor, and day-of paper products all worked together seamlessly. 

 

DOUBLE BONUS! She is very crafty and will build design elements by hand! (She built a Chuppah for us that was absolutely gorgeous!) 

Autumn is incredible at her job and it is clear that she truly loves what she does. I could honestly write a book about how amazing she is -- so save yourself the stress and hire her now!

THE BEST INVESTMENT.

Autumn was the best investment we made for our wedding. Aside from the fact that her skill, ingenuity, experience, and creativity saved us a lot of money, what we achieved was better than we could have ever dreamed of without her. 

 

Autumn's approach from day 1 was thoughtful, efficient, and thorough. She knew exactly what to ask to understand our vision, and she helped us fill in the blanks on stuff we hadn't thought about. When we were indecisive or changed our minds, Autumn was patient and understanding. 

 

Ultimately, we worked with Autumn for many months and we consider her a friend. She is passionate about what she does and she made us feel like we were her only clients. The fact that Autumn is independent and building a business on her own name is a key differentiator for her vs. other services. You get something very special with Autumn and I suggest giving her a chance if you're shopping around.

Hiring Autumn was one of the best decisions we've ever made and we'd highly recommend Autumn to anyone planning a wedding. She works insanely hard to plan, organize and execute her events. She has a wide array of talents and has a great eye for design - all of her custom items were perfect and she always had a knack for embodying the look we were going for. On the day of the wedding she managed to find sparklers that we'd forgotten to bring even though no store within 100 miles sold them. ORGANIZED + DETAIL ORIENTED.

I cannot say enough about the services that Autumn provided for us. My daughter and son-in-law decided on a destination wedding in Stevensville, MT. My daughter found Autumn online and we came to meet her in Montana in March. She had set up a whirlwind week-end of vendor visits including cake tasting, decor and florist visits, DJ screening, and more, and by the end of 3 days, almost all of our decisions had been made. Autumn is extremely organized, thinks of all of the details, is so amazingly energetic, and yet, has an easy-going, easy-to-like, personality. After our March visit to Montana, she communicated with the wedding couple online and by email and phone, designed wedding invitations, created centerpieces, I can't even list all of the things that Autumn did for us. The day before the wedding she supervised the set-up, and every detail was perfect. The day of the wedding, she handled everything so professionally but felt like one of the family. We relied on her for almost every detail and she came through to help create the perfect day. I would recommend that if you are trying to cut costs, do not cut the wedding planner, especially this wedding planner. Hiring Autumn was one of the best decisions we made.

THE BEST STRESS RELIEVER.

I'm convinced there's only one way to plan a wedding...Events by Autumn. From the very first meeting, Autumn's insane attention to detail, organizational skills, and creativity really sold me. Everyone kept asking me how stressed I was with planning the wedding and I had to honestly say the most stressful piece was deciding on a wedding dress (which Autumn repaired when one of my straps broke at the reception, she is a miracle worker). She has a sophisticated electronic tool kit of planning forms, graphic designs, and spreadsheets to keep even the most nervous bride at ease. Autumn even has a real tool box that was used to build a structure around my reception area so lights could be hung and to give it a intimate feel with all of the big sky surrounding us.I could write a book on the ways Autumn saved my sanity and produced a wedding so beautiful that all of my guests said it was the most gorgeous wedding they had ever attended. My recommendation is don't hesitate when considering a wedding planner and it has to be Events by Autumn!

A ROCK STAR.

You guys, Autumn is a rock star. She was contacted for day of coordination...like 2 or 3 days before a big wedding... I got an email late that night (I'm the photographer) with so many important details that I needed. The level of organization was amazing. And she called me the next morning to make sure I had seen some really important changes and go over a few things. She really pulled everything together even though she took over last minute for someone else. She is completely awesome.

SAVED THE DAY.

I cannot recommend Autumn or her team highly enough! Our wedding planner quit (!) 2 weeks before our wedding, and needless to say we were a mess. It was not only stressful, but also tremendously emotional during a very delicate time. Enter: Autumn and Mandy. Within 3 days, they had stepped in, signed a contract with us, and were working around the clock to onboard our wedding flawlessly. They contacted vendors, set up timelines, finalized details, made vendor recommendations. Through email, long phone calls and texts they really got the vision for our wedding and listened to what we needed. They also found us an incredible florist (our wedding planner was also our florist so when she quit we were REALLY in a bind). Our wedding day went off seamlessly, and we even came back to our room that night to find desserts and snacks they had put in our fridge for late night! In addition to everything they did, it was really their attitude and who they were that was amazing to work with. I can't recommend them enough. I would never wish the stress of what we went through on any bride, but working with Events by Autumn turned the disaster around and allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams!
